When looking at homes for sale in St Pete Beach, you really cannot go wrong as the entire city of St Pete Beach is fantastic. As you can imagine, the closer you are to the water the more expensive homes are going to be. The most expensive real estate in St Pete Beach can be found just south of the Don Cesar Hotel in an area called Pass-a-Grille. While the beach is world-renowned for it's beauty, the homes in this area are equally impressive.
From small beach-side cottages to multi-million dollar mansions, Pass-a-Grill (or PAG for short) has a wide array of homes ranging from half-a-million up to several million dollars and the pricing are just going to continue to increase. While you can get into a home on Pass-a-Grille Beach for around $500k, that will not buy you much house.
For the best bang for your buck, you are better off looking a little north on Gulf Blvd in a neighborhood like Belle Vista or going even further north into the town of Treasure Island. These areas have homes starting at around $200k for a fixer upper or foreclosure, so the area is affordable for many families and retirees.
